J3 - Bristol City Council & Knightstone Housing Association - £9M
A major mixed-use development on Junction 3 of the M32, Bristol J3 incorporates a new Library
learning centre, community education rooms, Crèche, 59 new social housing units, and 7 commercial units.
All housing is to be built to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3, Lifetime Homes and Building for Life
Silver standards. The learning centre is to achieve BREEAM very good standard. Commenced on-site Sept
2010 and due for completion Spring 2012. Undertaken under the auspices of gcp architects
114 Jacob Street
A commercial residential development of 31 flats on a restricted site within the heart of the Old Market
conservation area, Bristol. The project required the conservation of elements of the existing industrial
works in an ambitious courtyard scheme culminating in a five-storey copper-clad tower.

Lawrence Hill flats
A small commercial development of 15 flats on a former petrol station site on Church Road, Bristol maximising a
multi-level site at a prominent location. I led the design process and was heavily involved in the project between
stages A-D through a particularly difficult planning process. The building was completed in 2008 under Design-Build
contract which failed to complete the scheme to the full original design. Undertaken under the auspices of gcp architects
1&2 Wilson Street
A project to secure the future of two Grade II listed buildings on the Buildings at Risk Register in St Pauls, Bristol.
Proposals involve the restoration of the Georgian houses, returning them to residential use with 10 flats, and with an
ancillary enabling development of two houses. Received planning consent Dec 2010. Undertaken under the
auspices of gcp architects

A master-planning study on two sites for a major regional sports and leisure complex.

A Bid in conjunction with Leadbitter Construction to the HCA for a former hospital site developing an estate of

The conversion of a Grade II listed building in Bath with a major contemporary extension of to provide accommodation

Design and extensive community consultation involving a former petrol station site and proposals for
